Four Channel Microphone Array Design for FRONT SOUND STAGE COVERAGE using CARDIOID Microphones

The first stage in the selection of a specific Multichannel Microphone Array
is the choice of the Front Pair Coverage

The Front Coverage determines the part of the original sound field that will be reproduced between
the left and right hand loudspeakers - as shown in blue in the loudspeaker configuration diagram on the right.
The centre loudspeaker of the multichannel configuration is not used in 4 Channel Array Reproduction.
In Front Sound Stage Recording , the back segment is not taken into account.
